The Belgian Investment Company for Developing Countries is a development finance institution established in 2001 and headquartered in Brussels, Belgium. It invests directly and indirectly in small and medium-sized enterprises, financial institutions and private infrastructure projects in developing and emerging economies, with the aim of supporting private-sector growth and socio-economic development. Its activities include the allocation of loans, equity and guarantees through funds and intermediary partners, with geographic coverage across regions in Africa, Latin America, the Middle East, South Asia and East Asia-Pacific.
