Malaysia Forest Fund
The Malaysia Forest Fund (MFF) is a financial organisation headquartered in Putrajaya, Malaysia, established to support forest conservation and sustainable forest management under the National REDD Plus Strategy. It operates as an implementer of the REDD Plus Finance Framework, generating and mobilising finance for forestry activities, including mechanisms such as the Forest Conservation Certificate and the Forest Carbon Offset to channel funds towards conservation outcomes and forest-based nature-based solutions. The fund is governed by a Board of Trustees appointed by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability and engages stakeholders across public, private and civil society sectors to advance environmental stewardship and forest protection.
