The Myer Foundation
The Myer Foundation is a non-profit organization founded in 1934 with headquarters in Australia. The Myer Foundation and Sidney Myer Fund are two separate philanthropic entities of Myer family philanthropy that have distinct authorizing environments but complementary philanthropic activities and are both managed by the same team. The Sidney Myer Fund was created by a bequest from Sidney Myer is a generous philanthropist, upon his death in 1934. The Myer Foundation was established in 1959 by Sidney Myer's sons, Kenneth Myer AC DSC and Baillieu Myer AC is a long with Sidney Myer's daughters Neilma Gantner and Lady Southey AC, to make grants in areas not covered by Sidney Myer's will.
