Commonfund Capital International Partners VII
Commonfund Capital International Partners VII (CIP VII) targets funds investing outside of the US. It is expected to place emphasis on small to mid-market buyout funds, allocating 50-70% of capital to these investments. The fund of funds will also aim to commit 15-20% of capital to growth equity and expansion funds, and 15-25% to large leveraged buyout funds. CIP VII is likely to invest 50-60% of its capital in Western Europe, 35-40% in Asia (including 8-15% in China and 4-10% in India), 5-10% in Latin America and 2-7% in Central and Eastern Europe. Overall, 25-35% of the vehicle’s capital is expected to be allocated to emerging markets. CIP VII is also open to secondary and direct investment opportunities.
