Holistic Investments in Vital Ecosystems
Holistic Investments in Vital Ecosystems (HIVE) combines two interlinked vehicles: a revolving venture-building incubator called ‘The Pipeline Builder’ and a dedicated ‘Investment Fund’. The two have a combined target corpus of $85 million. The Pipeline Builder, with $35 million, will deploy repayable grants and risk-tolerant concessional capital in ticket sizes of $100,000–500,000. Beyond funding, it will provide intensive venture-building support to help early-stage climate and biodiversity companies build traction and reach investable readiness. The $50 million Investment Fund is a closed-ended vehicle that will provide early-growth capital for ventures graduating from the pipeline. It has a cheque size of $1-3 million.
