Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation
The Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (Norad) is the Norwegian government agency responsible for development cooperation and foreign aid. Norad's mission is to help achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals, work for a greener future and ensure that Norwegian aid contributes to global development. Headquartered in Oslo, Norway, Norad is a government agency under the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs with around 270 employees. Norad aims to be Norway's "greenest" directorate, with a goal of halving its own CO2 emissions by 2030.
