VIRA AIF Trust is a SEBI-registered Category II Alternative Investment Fund (AIF), established to channel growth capital into India’s small and medium enterprise (SME) segment. The trust’s inaugural scheme, the VIRA Bharat Opportunities Fund, is managed and sponsored by Veenavadini Fincom Private Limited. The fund targets investments across listed, unlisted, and SME exchange-listed companies, with a focus on supporting scalable, well-governed enterprises. Structured as a five-year closed-end vehicle (extendable by up to two years), the scheme offers a minimum capital commitment of INR 1 crore, a management fee of 2% per annum, and a 12% XIRR hurdle rate with an 80:20 profit-sharing mechanism. The target corpus is INR 50 crore, with an additional green-shoe option of INR 50 crore, designed to drive long-term value creation and foster SME participation in India’s capital markets.
