Institut Catala de Finances
The Catalan Institute of Finance (ICF) is a public financial institution founded in 1985 and owned by the Government of Catalonia. ICF provides loans, guarantees, and venture capital investments to support Catalan companies, particularly in the digital, industrial, and climate sectors. Industries it has a preference for include diversified/conglomerates, biotechnology, consumer discretionary, energy and utilities, healthcare, healthcare specialists, information technology, software, IT services, logistics and distribution, media (text; video; audio), medical devices and equipment, renewable energy, retail, telecoms and data, and travel and leisure. Verticals it has a preference for include artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning, data services, edutech, fintech, and healthtech. First-time funds may be considered.
