Bay of Plenty Community Trust
Bay of Plenty Community Trust is a lso known as BayTrust, is a non-profit organization founded in 1988 and headquartered in New Zealand. The trust was formed to hold shares in the Trust Bank Group, which were sold to Westpac Bank in 1996 for approximately $90 million. BayTrust's current fund is around $210 million (as of March 2019), invested in a diversified portfolio and its income is distributed as grants and loans to community groups in the Bay of Plenty region to help build, strengthen and enhance present and future communities.
