Bristol County Retirement System
Bristol County Retirement System is a public pension fund that provides retirement, disability and survivor benefits to approximately 2,500 retirees and 3,300 active employees of 14 Towns and 24 other governmental units in Bristol County, Massachusetts. It is led by a 5-member Board of Trustees and was founded in 1936, making it the 11th largest contributory retirement system for public employees in the state.
