Home Affairs Uniformed Services INVEST Fund
The Home Affairs Uniformed Services (INVEST Fund) was established in October 2001 as part of the Home Affairs Uniformed Services Superannuation Act, aimed at providing a superannuation scheme for officers in the uniformed services under Singapore's Ministry of Home Affairs. The fund is designed to assist these officers in transitioning to their second careers by accumulating a retirement savings pool through contributions, which are invested in a diversified portfolio managed by a Board of Trustees. This initiative recognizes the earlier retirement age of uniformed service officers compared to other civil service roles and seeks to ensure their financial security post-service.
