Transport Accident Commission
Transport Accident Commission is a Victorian Government-owned organization established in 1986 with headquarters in Australia. Its mission is to pay for treatment and benefits for people injured in transport accidents and to promote road safety with the goal of achieving zero deaths and serious injuries on the roads. The TAC operates a no-fault scheme where medical benefits are paid to injured persons regardless of who caused the accident, funded by vehicle registration payments made by Victorian motorists to VicRoads each year.
