Korea Trade Insurance Corporation was created in 1992 as a non-profit company with its headquarters in the Republic of Korea. K-SURE was founded to provide full support for international transactions and overseas investment, reflecting the rising interdependence of commerce and investment. K-SURE launched an import insurance plan in 2011 to help Korea secure critical commodities and natural resources. K-SURE rebranded with a new corporate image, vision, organization, policies, and management philosophy. It now offers trade and investment support services such as Foreign Exchange Risk Insurance, Overseas Business Credit Insurance, Export Credit Guarantee, and Short-Term and Long-Term Export Credit Insurance.
